Does my photo leave my device?
No. The editor reads and processes it locally in your browser. There is no photo-upload endpoint, and no account is needed. Closing the editor releases the working session.
Can I choose an exact file size?
Set a maximum in kB or KiB. We check the final bytes and keep your chosen pixel dimensions. If the limit cannot be met at your selected minimum quality, the tool asks you to change the settings.
What about PNG and transparent photos?
PNG remains lossless. When converting a transparent photo to JPEG, you must explicitly choose a white background. Passport and visa modes reject transparent photos.
Will this guarantee passport acceptance?
No. File checks cover properties such as format, dimensions and bytes. Lighting, expression, recency, editing history and acceptance need separate review. Choose the right application below.
